Ollie Long Joins Synergy Commercial Finance as a Franchisee!
Prior to establishing ‘ORL Finance Ltd’ Ollie gained a range of experience in both managing client relations and Commercial Lending, with 22 years working for NatWest support SMEs within the business and commercial bank.
Ollie created ‘ORL Finance Ltd’ to work with his clients closely, enabling him to provide the right funding solution. Working independently, he can determine the appetite efficiently and understand funder requirements and how proposals should be presented. Ensuring the most competitive deal from across the market. Ollie will be the main conduit between clients and the funder wherever possible so they can continue to focus on their business priorities.
“Whilst some banks will still offer a form of manager service you would need to fulfil their criteria – this would likely be a higher turnover, large debt quantum or both.
Due to advances with technology many aspects have been digitalised and whilst we must try to embrace it, many businesses have lost access to their ‘traditional bank manager’ over the years. This was someone who understood business, you could approach them with a funding need and have a rounded conversation – perhaps some out of the box thinking or even challenge you on ‘what if’ scenarios or ‘plan b’ options.
Is it a capital requirement, cash flow issue or would a consolidation/restructure be more appropriate? You might know exactly what you need and would just like to know if it were possible and if so, for it to be arranged quickly with minimal fuss.” Says Ollie.
