It is still only February but already we have had a number of serious enquiries from commercial finance brokers anxious for more information about the Synergy franchise opportunities. Not only that, but even at this early stage of the year some have already signed up with us to become Synergy Commercial Finance franchisees. In fact, only this week we were delighted to welcome Complete Commercial Finance, based in the Norfolk area, as the newest Synergy franchisees. Incidentally CCF have also agreed to become franchisees of our sister company, AFS.
One of the interesting points about this newest recruit to appreciate the Synergy franchise opportunities is that CCF is a new start up organisation. Yes, the company itself may be young; but the people, talent and experience behind it are certainly impressive.
CCF has been established by Michael Moore and Karl Lanham, two immensely experienced commercial finance specialists who have both built-up an impressive background in both the commercial finance banking and broker sectors.
When they decided to team up together they very quickly agreed that partnering with Synergy and benefitting from our unique franchise opportunities was exactly what they needed to do in order to ensure the success of their embryonic broker business. Michael has previously experienced the benefits of working via Synergy, so he was able to fully appreciate the many advantages of becoming a franchisee together with our exclusive Broker-in-a-Box benefits.
Michael Moore’s background includes spells as a Relationship Director at a high street bank, where he managed a portfolio of 100 SME clients. He also worked for a brokerage as a Business Development Director, and more latterly he was a director and broker within the commercial finance sector.
It was there incidentally that he also collaborated with Karl through a competitive brokerage agreement.
Karl Lanham’s career includes a role as Relationship Director, where he managed a portfolio of commercial clients with a turnover of £10m – £25m. More recently he operated within a busy commercial broker business where he developed and managed a number of commercial clients across a variety of sectors.
Having successfully collaborated on a number of commercial finance projects, Michael and Karl made the decision to team up in order to develop their own independent commercial finance broker business and so they jointly established Complete Commercial Finance.
One of the very first decisions they made was to take advantage of the unique franchise opportunities offered by Synergy and AFS.
