Prior to joining Asset Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd, Chris Gerrard career in finance started as a sales advisor for unsecured loans. After 18 months Chris swiftly moved on to work at a UK based bank as a sales executive in the motor finance department, where for the past 3 years he has managed customer accounts, pricing and structuring deals for dealers and brokers.
Chris feels he has now developed himself into a position where he could improve his work/life balance while getting directly involved in the needs of his customer. The overall role of a broker is perfectly suited to Chris as he enjoys being hands-on with all the large deals and creating relationships with his customers.
As a result of dealing with AFS franchisees for 3 years, Chris has always admired how passionate the brokers were about asset finance. The upbeat personality and the family work environment made Chris’s decision to join Asset Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd final.
Chris commented, “The broker in a box proposition is the ideal scenario for someone like myself to have all the training and support available and of course the large panel of funders we have access to, means we can provide finance to all our customers.”
Chris already has a small, existing customer base to utilise and plans to market Nexgen Finance Ltd to the wider market to help grow his client base and will be actively approaching new clients where he sees fit.
Nexgen Finance Ltd’s main experience is with motor finance, especially super/luxury cars, with plans to move more to asset finance deals in the future.
