AFS Group is delighted to announce that Lucy Ford, Bips System Co-ordinator has been named one of the Leasing Foundation’s 30 Under 30 for 2025. The winners were revealed at the Asset Finance Connect Conference in London yesterday, celebrating the next generation of leaders shaping the future of the asset finance industry.
Since joining the IT and Systems team, Lucy has been an instrumental force behind one of the most transformative technology projects in the company’s history, the development and implementation of Bips, a proprietary deal management system that now supports both the Asset Finance Solutions and Synergy networks.
With a steadfast focus on user experience, Lucy has helped to streamline the end-to-end deal process for brokers, significantly reducing administrative burdens and improving operational efficiency. Her wide-ranging contributions include working directly with developers to refine functionality, drafting user manuals, coordinating focus groups, leading training sessions, and providing ongoing support to end-users. As the team has grown, Lucy has also assisted with onboarding new colleagues.
Speaking about her recognition, Lucy said:
“I’m honoured to be included in the Leasing Foundation’s 30 Under 30. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see how my work on Bips is improving daily operations across the AFS and Synergy networks.”
Two other members of the Asset Finance Solutions network were named in this year’s list: Grace Rust, Property Finance Broker at Approved Finance and Taylor Nolan, Director of Nexgen Business Finance.
