We are pleased to welcome Matt Byron and Dominic Smith of Cornerstone Asset Finance Ltd to the AFS network as they build on decades of industry experience and expand their asset finance offering.
For decades, they have been trusted suppliers of high-quality new and used forklifts to businesses across the North West of England, bringing with them a strong blend of banking and finance experience. They quickly recognised that offering finance to prospective clients was a win-win for everyone: supporting customers in affording the equipment they needed while increasing sales in the process.
Building on this experience, Matt and Dominic are now looking to expand their broking operations to service clients beyond the equipment they supply. By founding Cornerstone Asset Finance, they will be able to operate as a standalone broker, servicing all aspects of asset finance, not just forklift trucks.
Matt and Dominic could see that AFS provides an ideal environment for new firms, combining support, structure, and opportunity in a way that reduces early-stage risk while encouraging growth. From assistance with regulation, compliance, and operational setup to leveraging the established AFS infrastructure, that is designed to support scalable growth.
